Bios Configoration

Before we Format and reinstall Win XP in the computer, we must ensure that after Restarting the computer, the operating system will searches first in CD-ROM and after then in hard disk. Changing these settings done in Computer BIOS.
What is BIOS? and how to do it?

BIOS contains the basic set of the computer operations. The Bios recognize automatically what is plugged, and check those peripherals component.

To enter Bios we need to press the Del key on keyboard, immediately when computer booting. If you did it right, you will see this screen:

You should down with the arrow key to the Advanced BIOS Features and click Enter. This screen will be accepted:

down with arrow to First Boot Device like the picture.
If you see CDROM like the picture quit with Esc and moved on. If not, change by the + button and - until you get to the CDROM. Press Esc to get out.

Press the F10 key, the following screen appears:

How update Bios

Click Y. The computer will restart from windows XP installation disk.
